Need for speed car lovers across the land will be interested to hear news that British engineers have begun construction on a car which is hoped will reach speeds of up to 1,000 mph, reports The BBC. The car, named Bloodhound, is expected to be the world's fastest, and will try to break land speed records in late 2012 or early 2013. It has been in design for the last three years. Parts and electronic components, built as per the blueprints will be delivered to the engineers' Bristol design house by Easter.
